III. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION

POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS

EYE CONTACT: Slightly irritating but does not injure eye tissue.

SKIN CONTACT: Frequent or prolonged contact may irritate and cause dermatitis. Low order of toxicity. Skin contact may aggravate an existing dermatitis condition.

INHALATION: High vapor/aerosol concentrations (greater than approx. 1000ppm) are irritating to the eyes and respiratory tract, may cause headaches, dizziness, anesthesia, drowsiness, unconsciousness, and other central nervous system effects, including death.

INGESTION: Small amounts of this product aspirated into the respiratory system during ingestion or vomiting may cause mild to severe pulmonary injury, possibly progressing to death. Minimal toxicity.

IV. FIRST AID MEASURES

EYE CONTACT: Flush with large amounts of water until irritation subsides. If irritation persists, get medical attention.

SKIN CONTACT: Flush with large amounts of water, use soap if available. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before re-use.

INHALATION: Immediately remove victim from exposure. Administer artificial respiration if breathing is stopped. Call for medical attention.

INGESTION: Do not induce vomiting. Keep at rest. Get prompt medical attention.

V. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

FLASH POINT (Method used): TCC 81 Degrees F / 27 Degrees C Note: Minimum

Auto Ignition Temperature: 932 Degrees F / 500 Degrees C NOTE: Approximate

FLAMMABLE LIMITS: LEL: 1.9 UEL: 12.3 @ 77 Degrees F / 25 Degrees C

GENERAL HAZARDS: Flammable liquid, can release vapor that forms flammable mixtures at temps. At or above flashpoint. Toxic gases will form at combustion. Hazardous combustion products: Fumes, smoke and carbon dioxide. Static discharge, material can accumulate static charges, which can cause an incendiary electrical discharge.

FIRE FIGHTING: Use water spray to cool fire-exposed surfaces & to protect personnel. Use foam, dry chemical, or water spray.
